Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you enjoy helping people during challenging times? We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our growing team at in the Liverpool / Birkenhead area.
As the first point of contact for customers who have suffered a motor accident or financial loss, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding them through the claims process. If you have a strong telephone manner, are empathetic, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Before being invited for an interview, all candidates must complete a 10-day Business Administration course. This essential training will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the role and ensure you're fully prepared to manage customer claims with confidence. Once you’ve completed the course, you’ll be invited to interview for the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer calls from clients who have experienced accidents or incidents
- Collect and record customer information accurately to process claims effectively
- Check insurance cover and explain next steps to customers clearly and professionally
- Provide empathetic customer service and ensure a positive experience throughout the claims process
- Assess liability using appropriate questioning techniques
- Promote relevant legal services to customers where appropriate
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure claims are processed smoothly
- Resolve complaints or dissatisfaction quickly and professionally
- Meet targets and service standards (SLAs/KPIs)
- Follow FCA/SRA regulations and adhere to company procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous customer service or call centre experience is a plus
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Strong IT and keyboard skills
- High attention to detail
