Home Care Assistant
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £13.74 per hour
Hours: Full-time / Part-time positions available

Join Our Caring Team:
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants. This rewarding role involves supporting adults in their own homes to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

No previous care experience is required; however, applicants must be willing to complete a Preparation to Work in Adult Social Care course before commencing employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and support. 
  • Assisting with medication in accordance with care plans. 
  • Supporting individuals with daily living activities. 
  • Helping with meal preparation and nutrition. 
  • Providing companionship and emotional support. 
  • Assisting with shopping and light household tasks. 
  • Maintaining accurate care records. 
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. 

Requirements:
  • A caring and compassionate nature. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Commitment to completing the Preparation to Work in Adult Social Care course before starting employment. 
  • Right to work in the UK. 
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred (if applicable).
